AC ACE LUCAS HORNS

My Lucas horns are from my AC 2 litre donor car. After seeing a few original AC ACEs they appear to be the correct ones. After a quick test on a battery to make sure they worked, I decided to strip them down and clean up all of the electrics. Once inside the horns I found quite bit of rust. The plan is to clean them up, Powdercoat the cases and put new wires with bullet connectors in. On many other cars from the period, these domes of these horns were chromed. On an ACE the horn is tucked under at the from and they are not really that visible, so chroming would not only be non-original it would also not be noticed.

The horns are tuned. Each horn has a different note - you'll notice that the tubes underneath the Lucas horns as a set are different. One low note, one high note.
